All new clients begin with an Integrated Movement & Manual Therapy Initial Assessment designed to understand how your body moves, what you’re experiencing, and what you hope to achieve.

We begin with a focused conversation about your history and goals, followed by an assessment of your posture, functional movement patterns, joint mobility, and soft tissue function. Integrating movement analysis with hands-on manual therapy, we identify the patterns contributing to pain, restriction, or inefficiency and determine the most appropriate treatment approach.

Your session concludes with a clear, personalized plan — whether Anatomy in Motion, Focused Manual Therapy, Scar Tissue Release Therapy, or an integrated combination — to support more efficient, resilient movement.

Please note that you will be wearing athletic clothing (such as shorts and tank top) throughout the session to allow for movement assessment and treatment.

Treatment Options:

AiM (Anatomy in Motion)

This is an investigative, movement-focused session designed to understand how your body moves as a whole. I assess your resting posture, joint function, and gait (walking pattern), and connect these findings to the reason you came in. Hands-on manual therapy is used throughout the session to help reduce stiffness, discomfort, or pain while guiding your body toward more efficient movement patterns. You’ll also receive personalized movement strategies to continue supporting the changes we create together.

Focused Manual Therapy

An outcome-based treatment tailored to your primary concern. We address your main area of discomfort, along with related areas identified during assessment, using targeted manual therapy techniques. Simple, customized exercises are provided to reinforce the work we do together and support lasting results.

Scar Tissue Release Therapy

This gentle manual therapy technique uses precise fingertip pressure to address scar tissue from surgical procedures, accidental injuries, muscle tears, or conditions such as plantar fasciitis. The goal is to improve mobility, reduce restriction, and support more comfortable movement.

All Movement & Manual Therapy services are provided by a Registered Massage Therapist and qualify for massage therapy insurance reimbursement. While direct billing is not offered, you will receive a receipt to submit to your insurance provider.
